After months of anticipation, Royal Enfield (RE) has officially revealed its highly awaited adventure motorcycle, the Himalayan 452. This marks a significant update to the iconic Himalayan 411, originally launched in 2016. According to a report by HT Auto, the formal launch of this thrilling motorcycle is expected in November of this year.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 brings forth a series of subtle yet impactful changes when compared to its predecessor. The new Himalayan boasts a more streamlined appearance, featuring a sleeker yet larger fuel tank, redesigned fenders, and a comfortable split-seat configuration. The ‘Himalayan’ branding takes a prominent position on the front mudguard, while Himalayan graphics adorn the fuel tank, side panel, and rear fender.

Under the hood, the Himalayan 452 is powered by a robust 451.65 cc, liquid-cooled engine, delivering an impressive 40 brake horsepower (bhp) and generating approximately 45 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm. Despite its enhanced performance, the bike is expected to maintain a weight of around 210 kg. Additionally, it features a state-of-the-art analog-digital instrument cluster with a TFT display, offering turn-by-turn navigation, as reported by HT Auto.

While Royal Enfield has not yet disclosed the pricing for the Himalayan 452 adventure motorcycle, market speculations suggest that it may fall within the range of Rs 2.80 lakh ex-showroom.
